Linda Alterwitz | In Sight
Bio
Linda Alterwitz is an artist based in the western United States who combines personal experience with scientific imagery to create a dialog that references her unique journey. Her work incorporates images of scientific life, (human, canine, or plant) with images that reflect her environment. Linda considers printing an important part of the final process. Using two printers- the Epson 3800 and 9800 large format printers, she prints all of her own work. While she prints primarily on paper, she also prints on different substrates to achieve the most effective final format for each series of work.
Alterwitz has exhibited her work in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
